The NK CM1700 Moisture Meter is a non-destructive digital instrument designed to determine the moisture content in concrete, pavements, cement and anhydrite screeds, plaster and related porous materials. Measurement is performed by electrical impedance: the unit generates a low-frequency electric field between its eight spring electrodes located on the base, without the need to drill or damage the surface.
It is especially useful for verifying the suitability of surfaces before applying coatings, installing wooden floors, or carrying out waterproofing works, ensuring that the substrate is within the acceptable moisture range for each system. Its 3.5 mm Jack and Mini-USB connectivity allows measurements to be extended with external probes for RH, temperature, dew point and wood moisture.
